AND IMAP PROTOCOL

· When user configure imap then
access any where and system mail

· In Imap all mail direct save in
server

· In imap case when data delete in system then data is not delete on server

· Imap port no: normal port-143

· Pop3 all mail download in local system

· In pop3 case send time is not save on server

· Pop3 is use only one system

This protocol using for sending mail

Encrypted port- 465(SSL)

Encrypted port- 587(TSL)

OST(OFFLINE STORAGE TABLE)

· WHEN YOU ARE USING EXCHAGE SERVER THEN CREATE MAIL IN .OST FORMAT

· .OST FORMAT IS ALLWAYS DUBLICATE COPY OF MAIL

· Outlook Data Files (.ost) are used when you
have an Exchange account and want to work offline
